Summary of Social Media

BLOG

I publish 8 posts in 8 weeks. And I have in total 509 views (142 last month). I increase my traffic from my previous blog post. I can’t explain why. 

The blog post with the most view is : « WHAT IS THE 5 PEOPLE/ORGANIZATIONS THAT I DECIDED TO FOLLOW ON TWITTER ».

For the vlog, did not make many views. Indeed, it is only 6 views. I think there are several factors that come into play. The first is the fact that the video is in private. In fact, if I had to reprint a video on YouTube, I'll put it in public. And I will use a maximum of hashtags, as well as descriptions of this fact it will be easier to find my video.

FACEBOOK

I already had Facebook before taking this class. So when I published my articles I think my "friends" facebook was not the target for my blog. As a result, I did not have many likes. In addition, my articles are written in French, and 95% of my friends are French. 

However if I had to create a strategy I will obviously use Facebook, because it is a tool (for me) essential. I learned during this course to better use Facebook in a professional way

TWITTER

I learn a lot of things with Twitter, I think I will still use it after this class. I think Twitter is a good way to communicate with customers. It's extremely direct. As a result we have an almost instant feedback of our tweet / post. I learned a lot from the different people I followed. I am now 26 people and 14 people follow me. I will try to increase these numbers in the coming weeks.

LINKEDIN

I like LinkedIn a lot. I used it already before this course (for about 1 and a half years) I am now 200+ connection. I start to write article for LinkedIn. As a result, I will have more visibility and recruiters will be able to contact me more easily. I also share some articles that I find interesting. I now belong to two groups: "ReactJs Developer" and "Developer in LA"
